CancerFree KIDS' Night for the Fight, presented by TQL Foundation Frequently Asked Questions

When and where is N4TF Fight Week?

March 6-13, 2021

Goose Chase app challenges begin at 10am on March 6 and end at 10am on March 13.

The livestream celebration will be held at 7pm on March 13, hosted by Dra' White and Jeff Clarke.

All Fight Week activities will be completed individually by participants, there is no single "event" where students will be in the same place at the same time.

What is Goose Chase?

Goose Chase is the app that will power our Fight Week challenges. Each team member will have their own account to complete challenges for their team. Teams win points when participants submit photos within the app of the challenges that they complete. At the end of the week, the team with the most points will be named Fight Week Champions!

When does registration close and what is the deadline to raise my $125 minimum fundraising requirement?

Registration closes at 11:59pm on March 4, 2021 and this is also the deadline to raise the $125 minimum fundraising requirement to participate in Fight Week.

To receive an event t-shirt and swag bag, students must raise the $125 fundraising minimum by 11:59pm on February 22, 2021.

Someone wants to support my fundraising with a check-what do I do?

Checks should be made out to CancerFree KIDS and can be dropped off or mailed to the address below. Please ask donors to put the student fundraiser's name on the memo line to be credited with the donation.

How do I get to my fundraising page?

To view a student's page, type his or her name in the "Fundraiser Search" button in the yellow banner on the top right of the page. If you are a student logging in to your fundraising page, please use the "Account Login" button located next to the fundraiser search.

How does the fundraising work?

There is a $25 registration fee to cover your t-shirt and other event costs. After registering, each student fundraises an additional $100 to advance CancerFree KIDS’ mission of funding childhood cancer research. Once a student has raised their $125 minimum they are permitted to participate in the Fight Week portion of the event. Consult the Student tab above on the website for ideas to help you fundraise your $125 minimum. More fundraising = more research!

Safety measures

Our first ever Night for the Fight: Fight Week has been implemented to protect the health and safety of our student participants, volunteers, staff and all individuals associated with Night for the Fight. For those familiar with our event in the past, we recognize the impossibility of implementing COVID-19 safety protocols and social distancing at our traditional overnight event. We are looking forward to this year's Fight Week, which will continue to provide an interactive experience for our students to have fun while raising money for life-saving childhood cancer research.
