Izzy and Emme are sisters both participating in Night for The Fight representing their high school! Izzy is a senior and has attended N4TF the past 3 years, also serving on the leadership team. Emme is a sophomore and this is her second year participating. They have raised a combined $600 for pediatric cancer research! They truly show how important it is to pass down the importance of Night for the Fight to your younger peers!
Izzy says: "I have been participating in Night for the Fight for the past 3 years and completed my senior capstone with Cancer Free Kids to raise awareness and support to pediatric cancer research. Being behind the scenes of planning this event has helped me gain leadership skills, organization, and learn more about the impacts that we make by donating to this organization. I fundraise by going to restaurant events and sharing my impacts and story of why we fight on social media."
Emme says: "I participated in Night For The Fight because my sister and I know people who have suffered from cancer and I would love to help raise money to fund research. My sister introduced me to Night For The Fight and I always look up to her and love to follow in her foot steps!"
Thank you to both of you for your dedication to supporting our mission!

Annaliese is our current top fundraiser for Night for the Fight! She serves on the Night for the Fight Leadership Team and has raised nearly $7,700 to fund childhood cancer research in memory of her brother Jonathan. We are so proud of Annaliese and all of her hard work and leadership to help make this event a success.
Annaliese says: "My brother, Jonathan, taught me so much during his life. Whether it was making creative LEGO builds, playing backyard badminton without getting kicked off "the team", or encouraging me when I was afraid to try something new, he was there. Even in his last moments, he was selflessly devoted to helping others. I fight to honor Jonathan's life."
Thank you, Annaliese for all you are doing to honor your brother and fund childhood cancer research with CancerFree KIDS and Night for the Fight!

Carly has been doing a great job recruiting for her team and fundraising for Night for the Fight. She is tied for the most team members with 13 people on her team! With $380 raised, she is setting a great example in fundraising and we are so grateful for her hard work!
Carly says: "I choose to participate in N4TF because it gives me a chance to make a positive impact on the community around me. Although I am not making a drastic difference, the participants and I are taking steps every day to raise money for pediatric cancer which is truly inspiring. I fight because I believe I am called to help others and care for the community around me and by joining night for the fight I can do this!
The main way I’m fundraising is by asking my family and friends. I send them a text asking why I do this and how their contributions can help save a life. I state that any amount is great and much appreciated. My group and I have raised a good amount of funds by doing this! My quote would be, Be proud of the accomplishments you make and that each donation you receive changes lives!"

Nick and Charlotte are our "Holiday Hero" Students of the Week! They have each received 6 donations during the holiday break, more than any other Night for the Fight students!
Nick is a senior on team Hope Warriors and Charlotte is a senior on team Dr. Whom. Both have done a great job spreading the word about Night for the Fight to friends and family during the holidays!
Nick says: "I choose to participate in Night for the Fight to help support those who fight a similar battle like me".
Charlotte says: “A friend who lost her brother to cancer invited me to participate in Night for the Fight. I love their family, so it was easy to say yes. And for fundraising, I just sent a text to everyone I know. Easy!!”
Thank you Charlotte and Nick for all you are doing to fund childhood cancer research with CancerFree KIDS and Night for the Fight!

Grace is a senior in high school and is fundraising in so many different ways! She has raised over $1,000 already through student sponsorships, Super Bowl squares, and an event through MVP Sports Bar and Grille!
Grace says: "I choose to participate in Night for the Fight because I’ve seen cancer severely impact the lives of families, and not just the individual diagnosed. For the past two years, participating in Night for the Fight really opened my eyes. I found out that childhood cancer research is very underfunded, and since then l've felt super passionate about bringing awareness to the CancerFree KIDS mission, and to give every kid a chance at an entire life. A quote I live by is “be kind to everyone, you never know what’s going on behind closed doors”"
Thank you Grace, for all you are doing to fund childhood cancer research with CancerFree KIDS and Night for the Fight!

Maya was nominated to be Student of the Week by her team member and friend, Ana, because of her dedication to helping her team succeed at Night for the Fight. Hear Maya's story about participating in Night for the Fight in honor of her grandma: "At the ripe age of eight, my mom lost my grandma to ovarian cancer. Cancer tears apart families and its heart wrenching. My grandma had so many goals, dreams, and desperations in her life that she would never get to achieve. But can you imagine never getting to set your goals or aim for the stars? When I was younger, I had a new hobby every day. I am still constantly trying new things. Because why not? Sadly, some children don’t get that luxury. They wake up each day and are purely thankful they woke up. I fight for my grandma whom I was never blessed with meeting; I fight for children like my mom who lose their parents before they get the chance to really know them. But most of all I fight for children to be able to wake up each morning reaching for the stars." -Maya
Thank you Maya for fighting for your grandma, your mom and all kids who are undergoing cancer treatment. You are truly making a difference.
