FAQs

What is included with registration?

Registration is $25 and includes an event t-shirt, your personal fundraising page, 2 general admission tickets to the CancerFree KIDS Celebration of Champions After Party Concert on September 27th, and access to the 100 Mile Challenge Facebook Page. When you complete the Challenge, meaning log 100 miles and raise $100 in September, you will receive an incentive that says "I Conquered the Challenge". Check back here to learn more about this incentive.

How do I fundraise?

When you register, you receive an online personal fundraising page with your own unique link where your friends and family can donate to help you reach your goal. The campaign website has letter and e-mail templates, instructions to create a Facebook Fundraiser that syncs with your fundraising page, and shareable social media graphics that you can use to assist you in your fundraising. View all resources here.

How do I track my miles?

You can complete your 100 miles with any activity. There is a conversion chart on the campaign website to allow you to convert activities that would not traditionally be measured using a mileage metric (yoga, water aerobics, tennis, basketball, etc.) into miles. You will either manually input your miles on your personal fundraising page or you can sync your account with Fitbit, Strava, or GoogleFit. Learn how to log miles here.

What is the Corporate Competition?

As a Corporate Competition team, you are competing against other companies to raise the most money and complete the most miles. The company with the highest fundraising total and the company with the highest average of miles and fundraising combined per team member will each have a 2024 CancerFree KIDS Research Grant named in their honor (must have 10+ team members and the team must have raised a minimum of $5000 to be eligible to win the Corporate Competition). Learn more here.

What is the Individual or Community Team?

As an individual, join the 100 Mile Challenge and invite your community to support you in your efforts. If you would like to create a team within your community, create your team through this link and invite members of your community, friends and family to join you in this month long challenge. The Community Team with the highest fundraising total will have a 2024 CancerFree KIDS Research Grant named in their team's honor! (A team must raise a minimum of $5,000 to be eligible for this award). Learn more here.

You can interact with other participants within our online community. You are invited to join the 100 Mile Challenge Facebook Group to engage with others and share your own progress.
