About CancerFree KIDS

CancerFree KIDS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that funds innovative childhood cancer research at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH. All of the vast improvements in the way we diagnose, treat and cure cancers have come as the result of research, and yet, pediatric cancer research is vastly and consistently underfunded. Much more funding is needed to continue down the path toward a cure with increased speed. That’s what we are here for.

To date, CancerFree KIDS has invested $9.45 million to fund 215 research grants since its inception in 2002. These projects have since received over $80 million in subsequent funding to continue studying the promising results shown from the CancerFree KIDS funded grant.
