Creative Ways to Fundraise

  1. E-mail your family, friends and extended family
  2. Provide contact information for your friends and family for CancerFree KIDS to send donation request letters on your behalf
  3. Create a Facebook Fundraiser (on your or a parent's account) that connects with your Night for the Fight fundraising page
  4. Host a restaurant fundraiser
  5. Sell Donatos cards (contact Cindy at cindy@cancerfreekids.org)
  6. Share your fundraising page on your and/or your parents' Facebook pages
  7. Post on your own social media accounts
  8. Text everyone you know
  9. Pass out flyers around your neighborhood
  10. Reach out to teachers and coaches
  11. Have a bake sale
  12. Host a car wash
  13. Mow lawns
  14. Ask if your parent's work will have a jeans day at their work for donations
  15. Incentivize your donors. Tell them if you reach a certain amount in donations you will wear/do something crazy in public, shave your head, or complete a dare of their choice.
  16. Walk dogs or dog-sit
  17. Shovel driveways when it snows
  18. Deliver food or coffee to your friends for a donation
  19. Bake cookies/brownies for your lunch table for a donation
  20. Buy a dozen donuts or a big pizza and sell each donut or slice for $2
  21. Sell something you make - jewelry, art, etc.
  22. Donate your money from a work shift or a night of babysitting to your own fundraiser
  23. Collect spare change from around your house
  24. Keep a change jar
  25. Make a deal with your parents for every ‘A’ you receive on a test, quiz, paper, etc. they will donate a certain amount to your fundraising page
  26. Ask for donations as a gift during the holidays or your birthday
  27. Go holiday caroling for donations
  28. Hold some sort of challenge or tournament (corn hole, volleyball, talent show) with entry fees or ticket sales that go towards your N4TF page
  29. Ask if you can raise money during a school sporting event to benefit your N4TF page
  30. Do neighborhood or household chores or errands for donations
  31. Ask your homeroom teacher if you can pass around a change bucket
  32. Bring clothes to Plato’s Closet/Clothe's Mentor/Snooty Fox
  33. Have stuff you don’t want anymore? Sell it on a website!
  34. Venmo request people for $1 donations
  35. Post Venmo Bingo on your Instagram Story
  36. Give up a restaurant trip and give the money to your fundraiser
  37. Ask for small weekly donations
  38. Save $1 per day leading up to N4TF
